Kevin Pietersen expresses his gratitude in the direction of India; PM Modi replies, Sports activities Information

Former England skipper Kevin Pietersen on Tuesday praised India for its gesture of offering vaccine doses to South Africa.

India’s Exterior Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar took to Twitter to announce that the vaccines have arrived in Johannesburg. He mentioned: “In it collectively. Made in India vaccines land in Johannesburg, South Africa.  #VaccineMaitri”

Pietersen took to social media and thanked India for the gesture and mentioned: “Indian generosity and kindness grows increasingly more each single day. The beloved nation!”

In one other tweet, the English batsman mentioned: “India has taught me a lot and likewise given me a lot, all through my profession. I’ve felt the love, ardour, power and hospitality that not many different nations can evaluate with. The world is seeing its care with the supply of the vaccine to SA this week.”

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi replied to the English batsman and mentioned: “Glad to see your affection in the direction of India. 🙂 We imagine that the world is our household and need to play our function in strengthening the battle in opposition to COVID-19.”

As per ‘Vaccine Maitri‘ (vaccine friendship) initiative, India will probably be delivering doses of COVID-19 vaccine to its neighbours. The nation has thus far offered vaccines to Bhutan, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Seychelles, Algeria and Mauritius.
